William Kentridge’s first substantial solo presentation in London for 15 years will open at聽Marian Goodman on 11 September. This聽major exhibition of new works will include聽two immersive multiscreen film installations, monumental ink-on-paper paintings, sculptures and drawings. In the聽upper gallery,聽More Sweetly Play the Dance, an eight-screen processionary danse macabre features聽a聽40 metre, life-sized, circular caravan. Marian Goodman聽will host a special talk between Kentridge and Iwona Blazwick, Director of the Whitechapel Gallery, 聽on Thursday 10 September, ahead of the show’s preview.
