罢丑别听聽celebrates contemporary projects in a wide variety of mediums, from drawing, painting and photography to sculpture, installation, video and performance. We are now 13 days away from聽the Art Prize call for entries deadline,聽and聽take this opportunity to look back at the work of聽photographer Todd Antony, who was longlisted in the 2015.
Born in New Zealand, Antony聽travels across the world to capture people and communities who live extraordinary lives.聽Alongside his work shooting for聽top advertising clients including Sony, Shell, Lucozade, Virgin, O2, and the BBC, Antony creates聽personal projects which聽capture聽exuberant characters from diverse contexts and far-flung locations.聽Longlisted work, Sun City Poms,聽documents a group of 12 retirees from Sun City Arizona who formed a cheerleading troupe. We speak to Antony about his聽experiences of working in the U.S. and his photographic projects which seamlessly marry characters to their native surroundings.
