In its 42 year history, Rencontres d鈥橝rles photography festival has offered an unique proposition: a celebration of styles and practices without over-emphasising photography鈥檚 boundaries. With this underlying ethos, the festival embraces the new age of the photograph; stating that we have become 鈥渁 species of editors鈥 creating more than ever because 鈥渞esources are limitless.鈥 With this in mind, this year鈥檚 festival boasts 60 exhibitions and is themed around connections to Mexico from the revolution through to the present day.
