Director, photographer and designer Jimmy Marble’s (b. 1985) latest series, Open Field, experiments with fashion photography in the studio setting, blending bold colours with a dreamy aesthetic.
The artist explains: “For Open Field’s inspiration, I wanted to take the photographic aesthetics of David Hamilton, and adapt it to my personal style. I love the soft focus, pastoral aesthetic that he uses and聽I wanted to put that impressionistic approach into a more modern studio setting to see how it felt.”
