A’ Design Awards 2017: Winners Announced

A’ Design Awards were originally established to create awareness for good design practices and principles, with the ultimate aim to build strong incentives for designers, companies and brands from all countries to come up with better products, services and systems that benefit mankind. The ethos is based upon pushing towards innovation, recognising new realms of functionality, aesthetics, efficiency, sustainability and performance.

A’ Design Award & Competition has announced the results of the 2016 / 2017 edition, including 1958 winners from 98 countries in 97 different design disciplines. These entries were carefully evaluated by an internationally influential jury panel composed of established scholars, prominent press members, creative design professionals and experienced entrepreneurs who devote great attention to detail whilst voting each entry.

Products, projects and services that demonstrate superior design, technology and creativity are given the A’ Design Award within five different levels of distinction: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron, all distributed annually throughout a range of different disciplines includingÌýSpatial Design, Industrial Design and Communication Design, as well as for Achievements in Arts and Literature.

Winners include Perathoner Architects’ (Architecture, Building and Structure Design Category),ÌýJessica Müller-Feist’sÌý(Street Furniture Design),ÌýYi-An Hung, Yestudio’s Ìý(Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design) andÌýCarlos Quevedo Rojas’Ìý (Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design).
