Bastiaan Woudt’s (b. 1987)聽Mukono, on display聽at Jackson Fine Art, Atlanta, tracks the story of a community in Uganda.聽 By documenting individuals and the water resources in the region, the series offers deeply personal narratives through portraiture and still life. Each image delicately responds to social and economic issues whilst evoking聽 a signature style, in which聽 abstraction is combined with a sharp focus on detail. From 13 July.
