In capturing the archetypes of southern California through infrared technology, Kate Ballis transforms the region’s iconic modernist architecture and desert landscapes into uncanny worlds.
Each hyper-saturated image is awash with rich tones, offering surreal and alluring dreamscapes that question perceptions of reality.
