Spatial Responses
Marco Miehling, winner of the 2017 Artists’ Collecting Society Studio Award, creates site specific installations, sculptures, drawings and virtual 3D models that are spatially and historically responsive. Miehling’s听The Boatswain鈥檚 Reclaim, featured above,听was on display at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield, earlier this year, and his winning pieces are included as part of William Benington Gallery‘s Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer (from 16 June). He is the current artist in residence at听Southwark Platform, London, and the piece听There was Nowhere to Sit: I’m Falling between Two Stools听is on display as part of 听(from 20 June).
