Shaw’s work hovers in a place between figuration and non-figuration, allowing the viewer the space to impose their interpretation. The聽process revolves around the building up and stripping down of imagery, exploring different painterly languages and reducing down to the lowest denominator.聽The works are snatches of images, sounds and thoughts forming into coherence.
