The impetus for Blue Agate Bracelet stems from Delarue鈥檚 interest in the notions of fakes, imitations and counterfeits, particularly those created in order to adequately meet people鈥檚 needs, since they possess some attributes that are missing in the originals. Clay brings stability to the piece, whilst glass brings shine and translucency.
