Emilie is a portrait shot on slide film, part of a series entitled House of Cards. As a reflection upon life鈥檚 fragile ambitions, the project portrays young people in front of lifestyle billboards. The images are reminiscent of Victorian portraiture, but painted canvases have now been replaced by photographs of luxurious homes, projecting standardised ideals.
