The focus of de Caires Taylor鈥檚 has been on marine environments and studying the dramatic decline of the world鈥檚 reef systems and the ways in which artificial reefs can increase overall marine biomass. The Silent Evolution 500 and other site-specific installations are all designed to act as artificial reefs, whilst diverting tourists away from their natural counterparts.
