Woolscape – Our Twisted Hero
Our Twisted Hero is a South Korean novel written by Yi Munyol (1987). The text is a political allegory of Korea鈥檚 transition from dictatorship to democracy, threaded with themes of totalitarianism and intellectual oppression. Jae Young Park draws upon the form of the novel through Woolscape 鈥撀燼 record of everyday life told through a series of lines. Through the piece, Park asks questions about the many people connected to each other in society.
