Emmy Yoneda is a 鈥渃ollision of cultures.鈥 Influenced by her two cultural identities, the work exists in the space in between. In Inherited Landscapes, she captures memories in the form of the moving image 鈥 brief encounters across Japan and Scotland, moving side by side. A dialogue between these countries allows room for contemplation and understanding.
