The cinema screen and the world of advertising inform the compositions of Emma Harvig. Her聽images appear like ambiguous stills taken from an unexplained narrative, with their highly stylised and picture-perfect surfaces using the techniques of advertising to lure the viewer鈥檚 eye. The series Le Ski features bizarrely-cropped Alpine scenes which become alluring vignettes.
