Self-portraits became a form of therapy for Nu帽ez as an attempt to over come personal problems. La Vie en Rose, is the result of Nu帽ez’s present state. The portraits gave shape to emotions, enabling self-discovery and revealed Nu帽ez’s presence to the world.
