Mapping data over time and revealing the information systems underlying contemporary life is the aim of Anna Madeleine鈥檚 practice. In Currents, she reminds the viewer of the tactile, physical infrastructure which actually underlies the internet, which, though seen as something 鈥渧irtual鈥 and 鈥渨ireless鈥, is reliant upon a global network of underwater cabling.
