Ending soon: Imprimer Le Monde聽is an eye-opening exhibition that traces the origins of today鈥檚 new creative frontier of 3D printing to photosculpture and high-relief topographical maps in the 19th century which were also realised layer by layer. It might surprise some viewers to learn that the first 3D printed object was produced by a French research team as early as 1984.
Impimer Le Monde runs until 19 June at Centre Pompidou, Paris, as part of the wider Mutations / Cr茅ations聽season. For more information:
