The series Vignettes of a Salesman by Ole Marius J酶rgensen – on show at In The Gallery, Copenhagen – tracks the fictional and nostalgic journey of a lone wanderer. Inhabiting staged scenarios, the lone figure traverses deserted聽 diners, motels and petrol stations in search of an unknown destination. A cinematic use of colour and light reflect the photographer’s background in film, crafting dreamlike backdrops for intriguing narratives.
The photographer is featured in 聽which showcases the collections聽Behind the Curtains听补苍诲 Vignettes of a Salesman.聽Looking to the inner and outer landscapes of individuals, the works聽use empty topographies as spectres of unidentifiable emotions.
