鈥淚 chose to use photography as a time machine to travel back into the past.鈥 Hiroshi Sugimoto: B.C at Fraenkel Gallery听, San Francisco, makes use of scientific, mythological and conceptual frameworks in order to access a pre-photographic past. The exhibition explores the artist’s interest in the prehistoric topography, seascapes and ancient life.
