The second and final part of Eddo Hartmann’s photographic investigation into life in North Korea opens at Huis Marseille​. As one of the only Westerners permitted to capture the region, Hartmann provides a unique view of daily experiences in the city of Pyongyang. Concurrently monumental and intimate, the images create dialogues between the imposing, government-prescribed architecture and the city’s residents.
