Anna Drozd is a visual storyteller concerned with social and environmental justice within Eastern European contexts. She is fascinated by the ethical possibility of docu-fiction projects: on the one hand they produce highly-politicised and effective testimonies to reality. On the other hand, “they serve as 鈥渟afe鈥 fine art spaces, sheltered and abstracted enough from daily experience to grant creators, participants, and viewers alike the ability to productively intervene into individual and/or collective identity.”
