A monumental exhibition at the Mus茅e de l鈥橢lys茅e Lausanne, entitled The Beauty of Lines, collates聽over 1500 original prints from the history of photography. By focusing on formal composition, the collection transcends place and time, instead highlighting the geometric underpinnings of masterworks from the 20th and 21st centuries. The selection includes images by B茅r茅nice Abbott, Eug猫ne Atget, Robert Adams, Walker Evans, Vik Muniz, Man Ray and Lee Friedlander.
