Two exhibitions at聽Michael Hoppen Gallery, London,聽celebrate the work of Jacques Henri Lartigue. Chosen by Paul Smith, the selection tracks the photographer鈥檚 work from 1950-1970, and takes shape as a series of spontaneous yet highly curated snapshots. Each image captures a sense of joy and individuality, offering a rich sense of paradise. As Smith notes:聽聽“I鈥檝e always admired Henri Lartigue as the master of the caught moment, so many of his best photos are about a spontaneous moment.”
