In Ivan Mikhailov’s city, rockets – once symbols of human achievement – are reinvented for use in children’s playgrounds. Le Ch芒teau d’Eau, Toulouse, brings together a selection of the practitioner’s photographs, taking the disused icons as a subject for an exhibition. Captured at night, the images make use of lights from nearby buildings, momentarily giving life to uncanny, nostalgic objects.
