An exhibition of Axel H眉tte’s early work at Josef Albers Museum听Quadrat Bottrop, Germany, tracks his restrained creative practice from 1978-1995. The images on display chronicle post-war architectural forms such as stairwells and corridors alongside the U-Bahn in Berlin and buildings in London, Venice and Paris. This interest in structural forms punctuates even H眉tte’s series of Italian landscapes, drawing together the diverse locations.
