Anthony McCall’s practice occupies the intersection between cinema, sculpture and drawing. A new major exhibition at The Hepworth Wakefield presents his monumental, immersive light installations for the first time. Creating three-dimensional illusions, the works play with notions of materiality, inviting the viewer to actively participate in the fabricated space.
