There’s less than two weeks to go until opens at York St John University. The event is an opportunity for you to meet the UK鈥檚 leading art organisations, publications and curators. Tackling key themes in today鈥檚 artistic climate, Future Now聽focuses on the arts ecosystem within a broader social context. The symposium is a place for an exchange of ideas, offering support, talent development and networking opportunities to those working in the sector.
Alongside talks, panel discussions and networking opportunities, Future Now will host a series of聽Portfolio Reviews. These sessions are designed for practitioners working across all media, including drawing and painting, photography and digital art, sculpture, design and three-dimensional art, video, installation and performance. Here, you will have the opportunity to book a slot with industry experts who can give you essential advice and guidance either on your current practice, or your career progression opportunities. This is a unique chance to develop your work and find out about new ways to expand your practice.
Portfolio Reviews will take place at 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00 on Day One and Day Two.
