Galerie Gmurzynska, Zurich begins its autumn season with a comprehensive showcase of pieces聽by the renowned avant-garde painter聽Joan Mir贸.聽The focus of this survey is the multifaceted body of work Mir贸 created in Paris in the circle of surrealist mastermind Andr茅 Breton as well as in Barcelona; in the artist鈥檚 beloved native Catalan countryside; and on the island of Majorca, spanning several periods from the mid-1920s all the way to the late, explorative works of聽the 1970s.
