The second edition in the series marking 聽10th聽birthday, the exclusive new colour print by Graham Dolphin whose work Fallen Neverland, 2012 goes on sale,17 August 2012.
Fallen Neverland is a digitally constructed collage from photographs of Neverland Ranch, California, the former home of American singer Michael Jackson (1958-2009). Named after the Peter Pan story by J. M Barrie, Neverland was Jackson鈥檚 attempt to create his version of this mythical location in which children do not age and is inhabited by the fairies of Pixie Hollow, mermaids and pirates.
After Jackson鈥檚 financial hardship, court cases and untimely death, the ranch鈥檚 fairground rides, swimming pools, zoo and mansion have all fallen into disrepair, decayed and dilapidated. Fallen Neverland depicts the entrance to the funfair, it鈥檚 now broken lights and impending storm clouds echoing darker times in which long held certainties of icons, capitalism and myths have fallen.
The collage Fallen Neverland, is a limited edition series of 100 prints which are signed and numbered by the artist and will be exclusively available from.
